I'm a seasoned guitar and piano keyboard teacher, performer, and composer with nearly two decades of experience. I hold a BMus (Hons) from Chichester University (UK), an RSL (Rockschool) Music Teacher's Diploma, and I'm a SACE-registered educator — committed to professional, student-centred music education in South Africa.

Based in Fish Hoek, Cape Town, I offer in-person music lessons by travelling to students' homes across the Southern Peninsula — including Fish Hoek, Noordhoek, Kommetjie, Simon's Town, Muizenberg, and surrounding areas. I also offer online music lessons worldwide, including for students in Johannesburg, the UK, the Netherlands, and beyond.

My teaching is designed for creative, introspective, and quirky minds — people who see music as a way to express themselves and understand the world.

As a guitar and piano keyboard teacher, I focus on strong musical foundations alongside creativity and emotional expression. I teach piano fundamentals and musicianship, and I also work with keyboards for contemporary styles — supporting modern, personal, and flexible musical goals.

 

My approach blends solid technique with creativity and modern tools, including multi-camera online lesson setups, personalised practice plans, and flexible lesson structures. I take pride in patient, individualised teaching that makes music feel accessible, meaningful, and deeply personal.
